"Bart, the instructor, was super great. He was so patient and has a knack for teaching. He has a great understanding and knowledge

of many cameras, as well as the field of photography. I definitely recommend this course to any one with a digital camera

Here's what you need to understand in order to use the creative modes:

  • Aperture
  • Shutter speed
  • iso
  • White balance: the type of light that your subject is in
  • Focus modes: how often your camera focuses
  • Focus area modes: how to tell your camera exactly what to focus on!

Let me guess.  You have an awesome  Digital Camera  that you only use on Auto.  You know it can do so much more but you don't know how it works. Piece of cake!  Here's what you need to know.  See that selector wheel on the camera?  It has M, S, A and P on it, or if it's a Canon it has M, Av, Tv and P.  Those are called 'The Creative Modes'.  They put you in charge of your camera!

Learn toTake Your Camera off of 'AUTO'

I've taught thousands of students and these are the top three issues people have:

  1. My pictures come out too light!
  2. My Pictures come out too dark!
  3. My pictures are out of focus!

I will teach you to control your exposure (lightness and darkness) using your:

  • Aperture (how much light is allowed through your lens)
  • Shutter Speed (How long the image is allowed to hit your camera's sensor)

Then I'll teach you how to control your camera's focus so that your camera will focus crisply on what YOU want it to focus on using it's Focus Modes and it's Focus Area Modes!!

You'll also learn how to use your APERTURE to control Depth of Field (keeping your subject in focus while blurring the foreground and/or background).

AND How to Stop Action or Show Motion using your SHUTTER SPEED!!

Take your camera off of the 'Auto' and 'Scene' modes.  Easily learn how to use the Creative Modes of Manual (M), Aperture Priority (A or Av) and Shutter Speed Priority (S or Tv).
