New Year's Resolution:

Learn how to use my Digital Camera!

This is the last site you need to look at to learn how to use your digital camera! I've taught thousands of students and these are the top three issues people have:

  1. My pictures come out too light!
  2. My Pictures come out too dark!
  3. My pictures are out of focus!

Give me three hours of your time and I will teach you to control your exposure (lightness and darkness) using your:

  • Aperture (how much light is allowed through your lens)
  • Shutter Speed (How long the image is allowed to hit your camera's sensor)
  • ISO (HOW SENSITIVE YOUR CAMERA IS TO LIGHT)

Then I'll teach you how to control your camera's focus so that your camera will focus crisply on what YOU want it to focus on using it's Focus Modes and it's Focus Area Modes!!

You'll also learn how to use your APERTURE to control Depth of Field (keeping your subject in focus while blurring the foreground and/or background).

AND How to Stop Action or Show Motion using your SHUTTER SPEED!!

Take your camera off of the 'Auto' and 'Scene' modes.  Easily learn how to use the Creative Modes of Manual (M), Aperture Priority (A or Av) and Shutter Speed Priority (S or Tv).
